Mz Sweetz Talk slumlords in Milwaukee, Wisconsin don’t care about the living conditions of their tenants. Especially black women and children. We are the targets of their unprofessional rental business practices. Complaints about repairs and hazardous living conditions, will kick start an illegal eviction. Instead of the landlord actually fixing the property. My bathroom ceiling leaks water during every rainfall. Which can cause me slip and fall on the puddle of water on the floor. Plus the electricity is affected by the water. The furnace is defective and doesn’t work. The pipes are rusted to the point the water has rust in it. Mold is in the basement floor and walls. The area is unsafe and needs improvements. The building attached is falling apart literally. My lawnmower was stolen, because it is the landlord’s responsibility to mow the grass. Broken windows and glass everywhere by my main entrance. The mental and emotional battles I’ve endured while living here are unreal.
